1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, submitting tips, creating or joining office pools, or otherwise accessing TopTipper ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our GDPR-compliant Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use TopTipper.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirements

TopTipper is strictly intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. TopTipper is a free-to-play sports prediction and tipping platform. We promote responsible sporting engagement in accordance with standard safer gambling principles.

3. Account Registration & Security

  • You must provide accurate and verifiable information during registration, including a valid email address and a unique username.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and password.
  • One account per person is strictly enforced. Any user discovered maintaining multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards, pool standings, or prize awards will face immediate disqualification and account termination.

4. Competition Rules & Tip Submissions

  • Lockout Deadlines: All match predictions (tips, margins, scores, Joker picks, and Banker power-ups) must be submitted before the official scheduled kickoff time of each fixture. Once a fixture reaches kickoff, tipping is permanently locked for that match.
  • Default Tips: If you fail to submit tips before a round deadline or join a competition mid-season, default tips may be assigned based on the competition configuration (e.g., away team defaults or lowest margin).
  • Scoring and Leaderboard Engine: Points are calculated automatically once match scores are validated by our data feed. Leaderboard recalculations and prize eligibility decisions made by the automated engine and platform administrators are final.
  • Power-Ups: Banker bonus points and Joker point multipliers must be explicitly selected prior to kickoff and cannot be reassigned after match commencement.

5. Office Pools & Community Conduct

  • Office pools and private leagues are organized by users. Platform administrators do not manage entry fees, side wagers, or informal private prizes arranged outside the Platform.
  • Message boards, comments, and player profiles must remain free of harassment, hate speech, spam, and unsolicited commercial promotion.
  • Group administrators have the authority to manage their pool roster, but cannot alter historical match results or official scoring rules.

TopTipper uses strictly necessary session cookies to keep you logged in:

  • laravel_session: Standard session identifier used to authenticate your active login state. Expires when you close your browser.
  • remember_web_* (Optional): A secure, encrypted token saved only if you select "Remember me" during login. Retained for 30 days to bypass login forms on return visits.

Affiliate & Third-Party Links

Some pages on TopTipper contain links to third-party bookmakers, merchandise stores, or other partners. These links may be affiliate links, which means we may receive a commission or referral fee if you click through and make a purchase or place a wager. Affiliate relationships do not influence our odds, tips, or competition results. You should review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party site before using their services.

8. Intellectual Property & Sports Data

All software, branding, UI designs, and proprietary scoring algorithms are the property of TopTipper. Team names, logos, fixture dates, and league trademarks are used strictly for identification, news reporting, and fair-use informational purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

TopTipper is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any downtime, missed tip submissions due to network disruptions, data inaccuracies from third-party sports feeds, or informal disputes arising within private office pools.
